Cookies
Cookies help in many ways to make your visit to our website easier, more enjoyable and more meaningful. Cookies are information files that are automatically stored by your web browser on your computer's hard drive when you visit our website. We use cookies, for example, to offer you the shopping basket function across several pages and to temporarily save your entries when you fill in a form on the website. This saves you having to fill in your details again when you visit another sub-page. We may also use cookies to identify you as a logged-in user after you have registered on the website, without requiring you to log in again when you visit another sub-page. Most internet browsers automatically accept cookies. However, you have the option of setting your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or so that you receive a notification each time a new cookie is sent. Please note that deactivating cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

Tracking

We use so-called tracking links, for example for Google Analytics, for the needs-based design and continuous optimisation of our website as well as for the control of advertising measures on external platforms.

You have the option of blocking all tracking links across the board under this link. Please note that a cookie is set for this purpose. The use of the online shop is not affected by the blocking.

Facebook-Pixel-Tracking
If you are logged in to Facebook and visit our online shop, data is transmitted to Facebook that enables the display of targeted advertising. The authorisation for this can be switched off in your Facebook profile.

Web Analytics Tools
We use the Google Analytics web analytics service for the needs-based design and ongoing optimisation of our website. In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and small text files (so-called "cookies") stored on your computer are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transmitted to the servers of the providers of these services, stored there and processed for us. In addition to the data listed under point 1, we may receive the following information as a result:

  • Navigation path that a visitor takes on the site.
  • the time spent on the website or sub-page
  • the sub-page on which the website is left
  • the country, region or city from which the site is accessed
  • End device (type, version, colour depth, resolution, width and height of browser window)
  • Returning or new visitors

The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. This information may be transferred to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on our behalf.

Google Analytics
The provider of Google Analytics is Google Inc, a company of the holding company Alphabet Inc, based in the USA. Before the data is transmitted to the provider, the IP address is truncated by activating IP anonymisation ("anonymizeIP") on this website within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In these cases, we ensure through contractual guarantees that Google Inc. maintains a sufficient level of data protection. According to Google Inc., in no case will the IP address be associated with other user-related data. For more information about the web analytics service used, please visit the Google Analytics website. Instructions on how to prevent the processing of your data by the web analysis service can be found at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Google Ads
We use Google Ads Customer Match. This is a function within Google Ads that helps prospective and existing customers to be reached more effectively and addressed in a personalised manner in Google Search, the Google Shopping tab, Gmail, YouTube and Google ad networks. Google Ads customer matching is used in particular for remarketing, for campaign optimisation and to increase the conversion rate. The personalisation of Google advertising is based on the assignment to a target group and is carried out by Google using information from your Google Account as well as on the basis of the activities and interests that arise during your use of Google products and Google advertising partners. This personalisation does not require any separate cookies. Google requires a list of customer data from us in order to determine whether you are already known to Google as a user. However, no profiles are created or expanded in the process. Google also does not receive your actual data (e.g. email address, telephone number), but only so-called hashed codes created using one-way encryption. Google cannot decrypt these codes as long as the corresponding data is not already available in its own user database. Google therefore does not receive the uploaded customer data, but can only determine whether the data is already known to Google or not. If the data is not available at Google, the created codes cannot be decoded. Otherwise, the already known codes and the hashed codes match and an assignment for the creation of target groups is possible. After the target groups have been created, the uploaded data is deleted.

Adobe Analytics
Our website uses technology from Adobe to collect information about how users interact with the website and its content. These performance cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest when the website is first visited in order to better understand the user behaviour of our site visitors and to further develop and modify the site. BRACK.CH uses the information obtained to ensure that the website adds value for its visitors, for example through content adapted to their personal needs. When using Adobe, data is collected anonymously using Adobe Analytics and processed and stored anonymously in Adobe data centres in Europe. If you wish to object completely to the collection of data by Adobe, you can do so by clicking the button above or by completing the opt-out process on Adobe's website and stating your objection there: http://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/opt-out.html.

Right to information, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing

You have the right to request information about the personal data we have stored about you. In addition, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data deleted, provided that there is no legal obligation to retain the data or an authorisation that entitles us to process the data.

For these purposes, you can contact us via the e-mail address info@cuvettes.ch. We may, at our discretion, require proof of identity to process your requests.

Safety measures

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect the personal data stored with us from manipulation, partial or complete loss and unauthorised access by third parties. These security measures are continuously improved and updated according to the current state of the art.

It is of great importance that you always keep your access data confidential and close the browser window when you have finished communicating with us, especially if you share the computer with other people.

The protection of data privacy within our company is taken seriously. Our employees as well as the service companies commissioned by us are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to observe the applicable data protection regulations.

Data retention

We only retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the use of the tracking and analysis services mentioned above as well as for further processing within the scope of our legitimate interest. We retain contractual data for longer, as this is necessary due to legal retention obligations. The obligation to retain data results from accounting regulations and tax provisions. According to these regulations, business communication, concluded contracts and accounting vouchers must be kept for a period of up to 10 years. As soon as we no longer need this data to provide services to you, it is blocked. This means that the data may only be used for accounting purposes and tax matters.

Right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority
You have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority at any time if you have concerns about the processing of your personal data.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Privacy policy for the use of Google +1

You can use the Google +1 button to publish information worldwide. Via the Google +1 button, you and other users receive personalised content from Google and its partners. In order to use the Google +1 button, you need a globally visible, public Google profile, which must contain at least the name chosen for the profile. This name is used in all Google services.
